Who's That Guy? - "Hollywood Steps Out"

Cartoons from the 30s and 40s often contain caricatures of celebrities of those times. While some of the caricatured stars are easily recognizable still today, other may look rather obscure.
The series of posts that I start today will help you identify all the caricatured people from various cartoons.
The first cartoon will be Tex Avery's "Hollywood Steps Out", so let's begin!

Cary Grant

Edward G. Robinson and Ann Sheridan

Henry Binder and Leon Schlesinger

Johnny Weissmuller

James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart and George Raft

Greta Garbo and Harpo Marx

Bing Crosby

Leopold Stokowski

James Stewart and Dorothy Lamour

Tyrone Power and Sonja Henie

The Three Stooges (Curly Howard, Larry Fine and Moe Howard)

Oliver Hardy

The man is Cesar Romero. I don't know who the girl is.

Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland

Lewis Stone and Mickey Rooney

Sally Rand

Kay Kyser

Standing: William Powell, Spencer Tracy, Douglas Fairbanks and Errol Flynn.
Sitting: Wallace Beery and C. Aubrey Smith

Peter Lorre

Henry Fonda

John Edgar Hoover

Boris Karloff, Arthur Treacher and Buster Keaton

Mischa Auer and Ned Sparks

Jerry Colonna

Groucho Marx and Clark Gable

Yours truly,

At 1:07, just before Cary Grant starts speaking -- you see Adolphe Menjou at a table with a woman in a yellow dress. I can't place her, though.

The girl in the cloakroom is a completely different person from the one dancing with Cesar. The one dancing with Cesar is definitely Rita Hayworth but the one in the cloak room is not her.

  9. I believe the woman with Adolphe Menjou is Norma Shearer. And I believe the i.d. of Douglas Fairbanks is incorrect. I believe that to be Ronald Colman.

Both Bogart and Fonda's ancestry came from the Netherlands. It has been before Netherlands broke away from Spain!

Mickey Rooney, the son of the British subject, is the very last surviving actor as of 2014 in this cartoon.
