How old is this cartoon Andrea, To me it looks like it could've been done in the mid-late 40's or the 50's.

Also, i can't see precisely why this cartoon would never be shown in the states, other than the usual. There's no racial stereotypes or anything that could warrent banning.

It was shown back in the 1960s, when independent stations were running the NTA package (the cartoon is a semi-remake of the Fleischer 1940 cartoon "Ants in the Plants", with the bees and bear substituting for the ants and anteater). But AFAIK, it's never been part of any of the public domain tapes that have run other NTA cartoons.

It was made in 1948 and it is part of the NTA package. However my print got original titles.
The non-PD NTA Famous are rarely seen in the States....
