Goldilocks and the Jivin' Bears : JITTERBUGS !

"Goldie's pretty sexy. I never see this cartoon and wonder why people think this is unpopular. "
This cartoon is not unpopular " per se " . The fact is that it happens to be one of the unfamous " Censored Eleven " , some Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies which were banned from TV for being " offensive " and because they hosted caricatures of black people and assorted stereotypes about blacks .
Probably the responsables of this " intelligent " decision forgot that in a cartoon you can do anything and you can have fun on anyone and anything !
That always was my rule !
Also , you have to consider the hystorical contest in which these animated shorts were produced ( the majority of them were made in the latter thirties and early 40s ).
The problem is not Goldie. Other caricatures in the film seem to be influenced by the minstrel (blackface) tradition, which is perceived to be racist today.

Ooooh...can someone tell me where I can find pictures of some hot Afro-Brazilian girls that look like Goldie and So White? Or the flirty "hepkitten" in the beginning of Tin Pan Alley Cats?
