Baby Huey will save us
Here's a delightful Huey short, one of his best entries ever. No particular reason to post this, but it makes the first page of my blog look more PC.
Hi J lee, I got that copy too and I've posted this because the video quality is waaay better (as, I hope, you'll easily noticed)and because I knew Thad's was already online (no reason to post the same transfer twice). A dear friend of mine is working to merge the original titles with this version (with better video quality) though.
Since that's pretty much what Warners does with their restored BR titles on the Golden Collection -- use the better-looking BR print for the body of the copy and whatever source material is around for the orignial titles -- that's the best option.
It's also interesting to note the changes in color selection between the title card on Thad's copy and the one on your DVD -- someone doing the Harveytoons transfers and masking of the Paramount copyright title was having some fun with the color controls on the chyron machine. ;)
Andrea, you probably could have saved a little time by asking Thad to borrow the copy he posted last year to Daily Motion, with the original titles.
