Time for something different!
I'm a big fan of the various DC animated series developed by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini.
Here you have one great episode from "Batman the Animated Series". The animation here is not good as it actually used to be during the series, and even in that case is nothing spectacular but, ehy, this is from the 90s.
The story is terrific, the main character is a riot, and there are a lot of memorable lines.
Gentlemen, here you have "The Man who killed Batman", in three parts.
Please let me know if you liked this particular out-of-the Golden Age trip,
Andrea
One of my all-time favorites from that series. As I understand it, it's meant as hommage to Will Eisner, what with the signature rainstorm at the beginning, the flashback structure, the "little man in over his head" plot used in so many SPIRIT stories, and the ostensible "hero" of the series only making appearances at key moments.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy Bruce Tim's work. He's the best person to work on animation versions of the DC universe. I can't wait for the DVD movie he's producing with the mightiest (and pretty) Amazon woman there is.
