That stumpy little angel looks familiar, the drawings are very Clampesque

You are probably meaning the Fats Waller angel .
Both the feline star of " Tin Pan Alley Cats " and this angel are tributes to the popular Fats Waller .

Nice stills. Are you going to give a tribute to Mcable in your next post since he was the last of the WB directors.

I have become a HUGE fan of Cab Calloways, since watching him in the Fleisher Bro's Betty Boop cartoons,"Snow White", Old Man of the Mountain", and "Minnie the Moocher". I also recognize "Fats Waller" whom I know from "Stormy Weather" that was just recently released on dvd. Does anyone know who the other people charactured here are?

duck dodgers, you mean to tell me that you have these cartoons used on this site on dvd? Whats your sectet? I would go hungry to own some of these but I cannot find them. Well, some of them I have, but not like, "Sunday go to Meeting" that one I remember from my youth. Great to be able to view it again in middle age.
