"Land of the Lost Jewels"

Yessire, another cartoon that is usually available in crappy copies is now shown in a marvellous print. Enjoy!

  1. As Usual, Nice Screens Andrea.

However, i forgot what this cartoon was about (It was part of a "Land of the Lost" trilogy at Famous, 2 have surfaced on PD Videos and i've seen both of them, one was an NTA print while the other had logoless-but-unblotted Paramount titles, but i couldn't for the life of me distinguish the two)

  2. In this one the fish helps the little girl to find her lost greassopher, but it is pretty difficult to return home with him, as you can judge by the screenshots.

Excellent screenshots, Andrea. I love the spooky Noveltoons opening. The only one of the series I haven't seen is "Land Of The Lost Watches", but this cartoon is quite similar to "Land Of The Lost". As always, it's a pleasure to see cartoons from big studios like Paramount that you wouldn't necessarily assosiate with these studios on short notice.

  4. Was there another one where the boy tries to bring back a pocket knife?

  5. I recall two Land of the Lost cartoons. The one with the grasshopper is what I'm most familiar with. I barely saw the one with the pocket knife. Don't know if there's a third.

Anybody notice the girl looks suspiciously like Little Audrey? :-/

Hi, GM here. Just found this site during a Google search and was delighted by the quality of the images. I was also wondering; is Land of the Lost Jewels (and the other two shorts in the series) available on DVD? I'd be most gateful if anyone here could point me in the right direction.

    Ciao, Gauis Marius.
