You can see from the ancillary merchandise that Disney was already contemplating having "Sunflower" cut out!

I posted a while ago on Amazon that I thought something was up in the scene where Bacchus is going up the stairs (Lower left pic). In the VHS release of Fantasia the scene is terribly cropped and in the latest DVD release they digitally removed Sunflower altogether.
I'll bet that in subsequent releases, the censorship technology will be so that they can remove her altogether from the film without resorting to cropping or re-playing scenes that have already happened.
