Cartoons ain't Human
We'll have to wait till the end of the year or maybe even 2009 to have this on DVD, so enjoy a great copy of it. One of the best Popeye entries in my opinion, and one of the best shorts made at Famous.
Well, I'll be seein' ya,

Actually... this will be probrably the last cartoon on the list of Popeye cartoons on the second volume (which comes out on June 2008)

No, the next Popeye set will be a two-disc set.
It is not even sure if it'll include all the remaining Fleischers' Popeyes.

Very good cartoon. I remember watching it a few weeks ago on YouTube. And oh no! We should wait at least one other year for the Famous cartoons?

Andrea --
Unless something's changed, I asked Jerry Beck about this back in October over on the Animation History forum, and he said that Vol. 2 would go through the remaining B&W Popeyes. Plus I believe Mark Kausler said he's already done a commentary for one of the Jim Tyer-helmed B&W Famous Studio Popeyes (which admittedly could be held for later, if they have decided to cut back to just a two-disc set).

Jerry, on the very same Animation History forum, recently reported what I've written in this post.
Things changed. Too bad.

Seymour Kneitel's masterpiece.

The music on this one is incredible--like Spike Jones on amphetamines.
